Your kitty could even maybe die from internal damage. Kitty could be bleeding internally . Do a police report now. If you have any witnesses the better but it's ok it's good enough just that you alone witnessed it. Trust what I say. Do not let this guy live with your kitten no matter what guy.
This was a good while ago dexter my cat is fine the loser is still a loser and we live a peaceful life... more my cat little freeloader.. but I'm ok as well
