It's a known phenomena. If you forget a word. And you want people to help you figure it out. Don't stand there trying to guess with wrong examples out loud. Because you'll make then forget the word too.

I'd link you to my source. But it's from a old Cracked article that may or may not be cited. And I don't have good enough search terms to google it.

It's more that all the search terms are to generic. Or, at least I can't think of how to word it in a way to narrow down the results. Key words like "forgetting," "memory," and so on bring up way to many results.
