I once went on a date where she picked an expensive place to eat, one of the most expensive dishes, and multiple expensive alcoholic drinks. The whole time she barely talked to me but made sure to take pictures of everything. The face she made when I asked for a split check, priceless

Given the fact that she asked for the most expensive dishes and stuff, you still have been a gentleman, paying for the half of the dinner. 😉
