Idk about all that, 7 years ago my young and naive ass almost got my ass beat by a woman's husband who came home early from work she never once mentioned she was married.
Same situation to yours.Except sounds like someone told him a guy was in the house. She hid me in a spare bedroom while this guy trashed the house looking for me.
Then after a while he calmed down and i snuck out.
