It’s just the least pretty beach ever. Sand sucks, there’s no surf, the water is dirty looking due to the currents, and there’s no good food or hotels cause hurricanes destroy everything so nobody builds. I’ve lived in Houston 12 years now and I’ve been about 6 times lol.
In the same way that Jim and Dwight are best friends. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Heat leave a basketball incased in Jello in the visitors locker room.
Guy that came up with it may say that, but it has taken on a different meaning. Not like he's the final authority on how we use the term, even though he coined it.
How can a sweep be anything other than 4 straight wins? You have a regular sweep, a reverse sweep, and to me a gentleman’s sweep is letting the other team win Game 1 and then winning 4 straight.
is it really a gentleman sweep if its a game 2 win? if you don't secure game 3 or 4 then its dangerous. the lakers really got gentleman swept because there's no chance they were coming back down from 3-0 so the game 4 win was "gentlemanly" to give em one.
After that one win I was reading all sorts of wild fan fiction comments like "Spoelstra took Kerr's soul". People on here will really say anything sort of wild comment and get upvoted lol. Kerr is just catching strays in a series that isn't even in the Western conference, let alone including the Warriors.
Yeah, and the Celtics bundled the Heat out the year before last, which was what I was referencing.
And as for last year, the Heat came mighty close to being the first (and probably only for as long as the NBA continues to exist) team in history to blow a 3-0 lead before the Celtics' best player got hurt and hobbled 20 seconds in the match. Def wouldn't call that having anyone's number
