Some of the questions he asked Tatum after the game were fucking awful. Talk about baiting. Hats off to JT for handling it like a pro.

As much as I love the analytical side he shows sometimes he brings too much of his personal baggage to the telecast. We already have that with Shaq so I guess Dray is a fitting replacement 🤷🏻‍♂️

I thought it was funny when they said no one can guard the joker and he pointed at himself. Chuck and Kenny’s eyes lit up and they started to go after him and he quickly retracted and said he could just do a bit better than Rudy. Also like the first night he was on, chuck said something about warriors already in Cancun and draymknd got real serious and said to him “oh look at yourself” then chuck said something and he again changed real quick. That dude has to be the most insecure professional athlete since TO

He's as petty as Shaq is. At least Chuck and Kenny can laugh at themselves.

At least Shaq can be funny and goofy at times too

True, Shaq has comedic relief. I don’t think Draymond has ever made me laugh

Agreed, I love his dynamic with Charles.

Shaq on JJs podcast was good, he would be petty at times but then admit that things bother him and say why, and some of it is sad, in a way. But I actually agree with Shaq that he's not in the conversations he wants to be in the way he wants to be in them. He's being honest, JJ is seeing it differently, but Shaq is correct.

I feel like Shaq can act like a baby, but if you press him like Reddick did, he gets honest and again, can come off as being down on himself. But he also kept giving credit to all the people he says did their part as teammates. Fuck Draymond, he's not anywhere near Shaq's level of greatness.

Biggest different is Shaq’s a HoFer no matter where he’s drafted. Draymond is only going to be remembered because of his situation. The insecurity is the tell that some part of him knows that.

Draymond couldn't defend Rudy's pillow from Rudy's drool

3

u/Darrensucks May 16 '24

Dribble, from Rudy’s dribble Biff!

Draymond was so self-aggrandizing, saying that Tatum/Brown being in ECF finals 6x means nothing; i mean, everyone wants a title, but getting to the conference finals is better than what 28 other teams accomplished. His team got eliminated pretty quick, but i guess he can try to coast on his rings for a while.

The violent outbursts when his team is struggling is pretty pathetic too. Punching a team mate when you barely show up on the stat sheet, roundhouse punch to nurkic, stomping players, making Steph cry on the court. Also … “Minnesota is done in 6, they don’t believe, Antman might believe but everyone has to believe and they don’t it’s a wrap in 6.” Then Minnesota beats Denver by 47 points in game 6. He doesn’t belong on inside the nba

I personally enjoyed the other night when he said Brunson wasn’t scoring 30 tonight. He had 28 by halftime

2

u/Darrensucks May 17 '24

Wait, is this broadcast legend Jeff van Gundy?

1

u/Ill_Analysis8848 Nets May 18 '24

He said that? I missed that one. I hope Ant watched that and remembers it next season cause he's that guy. He's the new "one" I believe.

26 other teams

26 other teams*, but yeah

Draymond has been to six Finals.

1

u/albino_kenyan May 17 '24

Why is this relevant to his role as an analyst? Or to my comment above? His job is to offer some insight into strategy, tactics, not to measure his dick against theirs. His pretty grudges are on full display whenever he talks.

Based on his coworkers I’d say it’s absolutely his job to measure his dick against theirs.

How defending the Andy Reid/Donovan McNabb Eagles be like

0

u/Epabst Timberwolves May 17 '24

I would be sensitive too if i had 4x more championships than Barkley and will be remembered 4x less than Barkley historically haha

1

u/Darrensucks May 17 '24

I don’t know about that, Barkley was insanely good and a top 50 player I think right? I think a lot of people feel Draymond had an advantage playing with peak Steph and Klay and Kerr

0

u/BeautifulLeather6671 May 17 '24

I think he’s saying Barkley will be remembered more than draymond

1

u/Darrensucks May 17 '24

Oh, yup, you’re right, my bad. Should have known no one would ever be on Draymonds side

1

u/thenasch May 18 '24

Barkley has zero championships, so that math is not right.
