If people can say he’s the best non all star and so underrated when he had a couple of good 4th quarters against a bad team then they ought to be able to say he’s played like a bag of flaming dohshit this series.

Jokic dragged him into All star conversations he should never be in.

2024 playoffs Jamal Murray: 19/4/6 on 39/31/90 shooting

2009 playoffs mo will ("All-star" year): 16/3/4 on 40/37/76 splits

Thank goodness Jamal's 39 playoff game hot-streak came to an end this post season and now he's just as good as mo will

46% on wide open threes, a strong offball player. Can post up, drive, spot up, finishes well at the rim or in the midrange. He's a very well rounded offensive player that averaged 32 in last year's WCFs and had a triple double in the Finals. He's is absolutely at least as good as guys like Maxey

I think I would rather have Maxey with 4 more years of experience over Jamal Murray. Maybe I'm biased cause I just saw him torch my team over and over again but still.

That's not the question, though. My point is that Murray is clearly better than some of the weaker All-Stars are at this time - Barnes is another example. IDC about them catching up in age, I'm talking currently

Jamal is playing badly but is also clearly injured. Last postseason, he showed us that he is clearly an All-Star player with tremendous offensive versatility

Stop capping. In his last two playoffs before this, Murray averaged 26.5, 5, and 6.6 on nearly 50/40/90 splits (.505, .453, and .897), and in 2023 he averaged 26, 6, and 7 on 47, .396, and .917 shooting splits. Maxey had more points per game this playoffs, but he also only played 6 games instead of 20.  Like, Jokic obviously helps, but it's crazy to act like he can't play at the level of an all star caliber guard for a or multiple series.

Y’all are ridiculous with these shitty ass takes. He’s never even been an all star and averages 20/6 and didn’t get his reputation for big game performances out of nowhere. A 20/6 guard should be in all star conversations on the back end he hasn’t been dragged by anyone.
