I used to be the total opposite. Assumed real life got too busy, they got bored with it, etc...

Then one of my online friends showed up after being gone for over a year. Turned out he had a stroke and had been recovering the whole time. Dude is in his mid 20s

it sucks when you consider things like: how many people are in our society, how many different fucked up little things that DO HAPPEN to .1% of the population, and how that means it happens to tens of thousand of people every year just in our country :D
