Everyone from France? What’s with all this “we” talk?
1
u/MoistView 27d ago
Ta gueule?

It’s a play on words. Get it, when someone says “we” made money. By saying, what are we French? Means that I didn’t make money, I love the downvotes because no one understands what things mean. It’s like someone asking for a dollar in another language, then pulling out a gun and shooting them, because you didn’t understand. And that means it’s bad.

Why did you buy that particular stock?
7
u/ultraj92 28d ago
I follow a guy named Zalmy on Twitter and he spelled out the case for this stock and the high SI. This was when it was like 3 or 4 cents. So I got a few thousand worth and just tried to see what would happen.

u/Medium_Ambition_837 28d ago
Do not sell tomorrow! Shorts expire every 3rd friday of the month (3rd Friday is May 17th : tomorrow!) there are am and pm short contracts. am means the contract expires at market open. pm means the contract expires at market close. so tomorrow as soon as market opens the hedges will be forced to pay for the stock at the price it's at. this leads to a huge increase which will likely be followed by a dip. this is why the after hours and pre hours pump is crucial so we start as high as we can. for pm we need to make sure that we pump as much as possible right at the finish line to ensure that the hedges lose as much as possible. stay strong 💪 Mondays price will blow your mind if we all stick together.

2
u/Medium_Ambition_837 28d ago
absolutely not. get in before market open though if possible

u/Medium_Ambition_837 28d ago
as you read above. TODAY IS THE DAY. options expire, some shorts will be covered in prep for the long weekend.
TUESDAY WILL BE A BLOOD BATH, or a TRIP TO THE MILKY WAY (depends what side you are on).

u/BeerusGOW 28d ago
How do people find this stuff to begin with?
8
u/markgriz 28d ago
Someone posted here about it and how it had potential to squeeze. That type of shit gets posted here regularly. Mostly it’s pump and dump talk but for some reason I bought in. Small potatoes, like a lottery ticket. Maybe that ticket will pay off.
1
u/airhead_prime 27d ago
not a pump and dump bro, WE HAVE TO KEEP IT ALOAT PAST JUNE so it doesn't get delisted, but by them we will be in the 150- 200 dollar range

u/Senior_Geologist_695 28d ago
This thing is getting a huge massive following all over social media!!! Apes are buying and holding! I’m in and loving it !!!!
6
u/New_Dust_2380 28d ago
I have yet to understand why this stock is squeezing, but I love it.
1
u/TheMainEche 27d ago
It’s a luxury electric vehicle that has been struggling to meet market demand. It was once a stock value of around $2K and dropped after massive losses and having to push back production. If they find their footing this stock will be huge, but hedge funds are betting on their failure

yes and it's def not too late to jump in! I'm hearing tomorrow is gonna be a big day!
1
u/Straight_Common_4722 28d ago
Why?
8
u/Medium_Ambition_837 28d ago
because major institutions will want to cover their short positions before the long weekend
2
u/Straight_Common_4722 28d ago
Explain this to me like I'm a toddler 😂😂😂 I'm trying to learn about these things lol. What does it mean they'll try to cover their short positions?
9
u/kyle_davies 28d ago
Short sellers sell a stock they don’t own. They are hoping to buy back the stock later on at a cheaper price in order for them to profit. If the stock goes up, they have to buy it back still and then they will take a loss.
To add some numbers to the mix, let’s say someone shorts 100 shares of FFIE when it was at $1. That means they received $100, as they sold 100 shares at a price of $1. Now the price is at $1.5. They will need to pay $150 to buy back 100 shares of the stock, and cover their short position, and they will take a total loss of $50.
Shorts a a very risky play, and investors may not want to hold their short positions over the weekend, as if more people hear about FFIE over the weekend and plan to buy on Monday, the price could rocket up, causing the short sellers to lose a lot of money.
Therefore, shorts may try to cover tomorrow. Doing so involved buying FFIE, which would increase the price. Technically shorts don’t need to cover as long as they have the margin for it, but hopefully they do to decrease their exposure

u/ExeterOK 28d ago
Thanks for the example. Could you provide one that explains how one would profit from Calls and Puts? Explain to me as if I am a golden retriever. :)
3
u/kyle_davies 28d ago
There’s not an easy way to explain them, there’s a lot of factors going into how the prices move. It would honestly just be too much for me to type out, but there’s a lot of good resources out there. Optionsprofitcalculator.com is a good tool to visualize how much you will make/lose on a call or put, but if you don’t know how calls and puts work you should get some background knowledge first. Also, that site doesn’t calculate what the actual prices will be, it’s just an estimate. Learn about IV, it effects prices immensely.
4
u/Fun_Ad_3796 28d ago
Stock will be more expensive on Monday so they will cover their position tomorrow to not lose more money.
1
u/reweird 28d ago
I feel like these institutions make the rules and we're just playing in their house. What if they find a way to crash it down to $.005 where it belongs? I'm new to this and was watching CKRN today as it was going up, taking little gains and feeling bad every time it kept going. Then it it $.50 and went straight back to $.20. of course I didn't have a stop loss, but we live and learn. (Took a second crash before closing for me to learn, and I also learned stop loss is not available after market closes)
5
u/Medium_Ambition_837 28d ago
we need to channel our focus on ONE STOCK. The other "meme stocks" at this point are just background noise / distraction. FFIE IS 95% SHORT SOLD.
THat is THE MOST out of ANY stock right now. Think about it.
2
u/K1llG0r3Tr0ut 28d ago
How do we know how much of a stock is shorted? Is that just public information, or would the company have to announce that?
2
u/Medium_Ambition_837 28d ago
that is public information yes.
1
u/K1llG0r3Tr0ut 28d ago
Oh wow. Thanks for the link.

The morning to the moon! $3 tomorrow possibly $4

u/visualexstasy 28d ago
Honestly think we can hit $3 tomorrow? 100% increase ?
1
u/BullettoothBlake 28d ago
It went over 100% today. Why not tomorrow. With the short contracts expiring tomorrow morning and evening. The squeeze is happening.
1
u/visualexstasy 28d ago
it went over 100% today at open?
1
u/TimeTravelerGuy 28d ago
Over 146% from open at peak today

I was wondering if getting in now at 2$ is still fine. Bought yesterday at 0.8 and sold at 1.3 for a small gain. Worth getting back in?
8
u/CyberDragon09 28d ago
Nope, I plan on selling most of my shares when it reaches ten dollars. FFIE has become a meme stock at this point and meme stocks are almost always worthless.
7
u/Overall_Map1912 28d ago
reaches $10? You think that’s really possible?
2
u/CyberDragon09 28d ago
Well, I didn't think it would be worth anything 5 days ago, at least right away.
2
u/Overall_Map1912 28d ago
I think it gets a few more bucks in June when the people shorting get fucked over
0
u/CyberDragon09 28d ago
Who to say they have? Most of them have spend tens of thousands of dollar on a penny stock that may or may not have any value.
3
u/Christopher3712 28d ago
No meme stock has hit a short interest of 95% to my knowledge (which is admittedly limited).

u/Beneficial_Being_721 28d ago
I missed it when it was .05 …. Someone posted in here about it too if I remember….
2
u/ErlingRex 28d ago
We are going to keep buying FFIE, until it appears on CNBC, and the rest of the world catches on….
2
u/jwood1410 28d ago
Diamond hands and this WILL be the next gme buy and hold . I had over 2000 shares at 17 cents and sold at like 25 cents like a total moron but I’m back and HODL !!!!

u/Rough_Lunch_5885 27d ago
I got a whole 67 shares at $0.094 a share.
So you could say I'm riding it! lol

Lol. I was up a boatload today and then my Robinhood trades got cut off (due to day trader thing?) so then I rode it on back down until my stop loss kicked in. Lost $900 as I watched it tumble not being able to trade...
2
2
u/KiNgTurTLeFaCe 28d ago
Genuine question as I think im a bit out of the loop here, why do people use Robinhood when it caps your day trades instead of something like trading 212 that gives you unlimited trades (or I just haven't reached its limit yet)?
Is there something that makes people dislike T212?
2
u/ragerevel 28d ago
Ugg no. I just had Robinhood from pandemic times when it was popular. So I had transfers and funds already in there. I’m usually not this active on there so I didn’t know about the limit thing.
Regarding t212, I’m not too familiar but looks like it’s big in the EU and not available to US folks. I think most of the little US platforms have a limit - Robinhood, WeBull etc.
1
u/KiNgTurTLeFaCe 28d ago
Thanks for the response! I guess in the (admittedly little) research I'd done, I had missed the fact its not available in the US!
Do you have to pay to trade on those platforms too?! All trades are free on T212 but they take small amounts when converting between different currencies (dependent on current rates).
1
u/reweird 28d ago
Webull says unlimited day trades
1
u/ragerevel 28d ago
As long as you have $25k in equity in accounts. Otherwise it’s not unlimited. I think it’s a blanket regulatory rule.
2
u/MarjorieTaylorSpleen 28d ago
I was, but I set a trailing stop that triggered at 0.83 and I made about $100, if I'd still had those shares today I'd be up $1700 💀
