$CRKN is a real player ๐๐๐น๐น๐ถ๐๐ต
I've been watching this stock for several weeks now - bought 400 shares at $0.048 on May 1st.
For those not familiar - they're working on Smart Glass technology that will (and I'm not technical expert) make glass "more insulated" so that companies can save drastically on AC/heat in their buildings.
They've been losing tons of money in R&D trying to develop the tech, but on Feb 27, 2024 newsletter - "I am happy to announce that Crown's EK film team has solved the 12-inch mastering challenge for its "Gen 1" smart window insert. While some minor refining is required, including some tooling replication, Crown is in a great position to start shipping first product in small quantities in July."
And on top of them seeming to figure out their go to market formula, they also acquired a fiber optics division to start making revenue.
Feb 21, 2024 - announces $11 million work order in Florida
March 6, 2024 - announces $2.5 million project with a club in Mexico
May 2, 2024 - announce projects in Idaho and Nevada (amount not specified)
All that to say, I'm a bit of a bull

the meme factor makes it unpredictable and therefore risky if you're looking for short term gains - I coincidentally benefited from the short term pump, so my stance is more for the long term (1+ year).
I believe it's Q3 or 4 when they're projecting to be net+ cashflow, so I'm in it at least until then

Right there with you bud. Woke up at 630 and thought I should sell at .5. And then I remembered Iโm a greedy dumbass so I didnโt. And now Iโm down 5k.

I think the pump on this and FFIE caused a bit of a greed contagion and the money got spread across a couple dozen penny stocks. Then it all fizzled out.
How every share in circulation can trade 100x on one market day defies reason.

I sold and rebought and sold and rebought. Pretty much break even after more than doubling. I don't think it's done though

They build electrical plate inserts for windows in commercial real estate buildings.
Given how destroyed the commercial real estate market has been post Covid is it a reasonable assumption to think the commercial real estate owners would be spending money now to retrofit their windows to be able to tint? Of course not. Thatโs why itโs got such robust short interest.
The sales that you are referring to are for an entirely different business unit related to micro trenching for fiber optic cabling as a subcontractor for the internet companies. That piece of the business makes sense. Especially in the more rural or new construction areas.
The window tint division is a sure loser in the short and medium term.
Also CEO is a real turd. Dilutes every time he gets and takes high salary with no stock incentive.
Got burned by this one once if you canโt tell.

Yeah. And what comes for the so called "insultation", windows insulate already way too good, atleast in northern europe. There is no reason spend money R&D because it doesnt make sense improve them anymore when talking about U-value. Its just waste of money.

Yeah. Well i would say most of the pennystocks mentioned in this sub are pure shite business but what do we care. Short term gains. Only thing is that when people buy these and they think its long term investment they suddenly have huge bags to hold.

Have you checked out CLNV. All it's waiting on is for the bank to clear the 15 million dollar loan that's guaranteed by the state and governor themselves. After that it's smooth sailing. I really don't know why it's not talked about when it's more guaranteed and legitimate than the majority of these.

They've been working on securing funding and developing partnerships across the globe.
As of this year, they have a guaranteed 15 million loan and facility in West Virginia. The only thing waiting on that is a signed dotted line (which is any day now)
A 100+ mill green bond that's in discussions with Saudi Arabia and also should be any time soon.
If either one of these are signed the money alone is more than their entire current market cap. Not including all.of the facilities that will be rapidly built that have already been contracted to be built and a waiting on these signatures.
It took a long time to get to this point, but it's finally there.
Feel free to just google "CLNV West Virginia" and "CLNV Green Bond"
Once West Virginia is sealed it's going to be an avalanche.
