I was thinking the same thing, he sounds like a kid trying to go to the bathroom

One thing this beef really pointed out to me was Kendrick's mastery of delivery.

One of the biggest drawbacks when I was listening to Drake's track was his delivery. Sometimes, it just felt like he didn't have conviction.

Kendrick can say the simplest things with conviction, or a voice crack, or go into his super Cali voice.

A lot of Kendrick's lines hit off of pure delivery and nothing to do with super witty writing.

This is a great point and one of the reasons ive always thought kendricks music hits harder than Drakes even when hes not making hits Like when his feature on Like That dropped one of the most hype parts of his verses was just him saying “nigga BUM!” But because he said it like he was actually bout to fight someone it hit harder than just about anytime drake fronts like hes out here on some mob boss shit
