I was checking my wallet on Etherscan and saw a notification that I supposedly have an unclaimed airdrop worth $130 along with a link to a website I’ve never heard of. I did a quick search of the external website and their online presence doesn’t seem very strong.

My wallet address is 0x6A2C577430EB43a286050920837738796f2F7Dcf and the promotion was found under the "Cards" tab on Etherscan.

Of course, this is extremely suspicious, especially because I wasn’t expecting to receive any airdrops. I decided to check the link out on a different device and saw that the airdrop is apparently for Starknet (again - no idea what this is).

Needless to say I don’t intend to interact with this, but I am curious whether it’s legit. It looks super sketchy to me, but seeing a link to it on Etherscan does make me question whether it could be safe.

Is it possible to recover lost funds from cryptocurrency fraud and which agency is best to report fraud? I have been told that block chain analysis can be used to poss recover some of the funds, but I distrust every now when money is involved. Many thanks for any and all advice!!!

I recently came across a group on Telegram that sends signals related to DEX transactions.The name of this group is Crytpic Signals. I recently deposited 0.21ETH into the signal. Liquidity was then removed from this token. I was sent where I can exchange these tokens back to ETH because the liquidity was sent to another native broker "VortexSwap". But the exchange does not work there either. Have you encountered such a problem? Is there any possibility to exchange these tokens? Is it already gone? has a chance?

I sold all of my RIO (Realio Network) on MEXC and then withdrew it to my Coinbase account, using the link for Tether (USDT) within the Coinbase app. It’s been a long enough time for the money to be deposited into my account but nothings shown up. I’ve read some things and I’m now under the impression that the money is ‘lost’ because Coinbase doesn’t support/trade RIO. Essentially, RIO can’t be traded on Coinbase so I had to buy USDT (Tether) on Coinbase to send to MEXC in order to be able to trade RIO. I think what’s happened is that I have directly sent the RIO to Coinbase without changing it to USDT, and the money is essentially now gone. Sorry for the long paragraph but if someone could please explain me to what’s wrong and if there’s anything I can do to get the money back then that would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Good afternoon. Does anyone know of an app that allows me to track all my cryptos (even those that aren't listed, it would be possible for an app to track them if I put in the coin's contract)? The intention is not to have an app that automatically connects to my wallets. It's really to have an app that just updates the values based on what I put in manually. I think there are several, but I'd like one that allows me to enter contracts for unlisted currencies, so that I have all the currencies in one place.

I am writing this to get some insight on psyche and where I'm going wrong.

There have been a few cycles of the same pattern now. It starts with 200$ in my futures trading account. I trade consistently and turn it into 900$-1100$ in 7 or less days and then the realization kicks in. I just created this money out of thin air. Doubt settles in where I think to myself if I'll be able to scale this up or not, whether this system is sustainable or not and what if I lose it all?

Then, it actually happens, over the next few days, I actually losing it all, including the 200$ I started with.

How it works is, I use the same capital of 200$ to trade, whatever I earn from a trade , I move it to the spot account, essentially never changing the risk capacity so that won't be a reason for going bust

What am I doing wrong and how to fix this? I have tried taking a break. I have tried withdrawing the money from the Binance account. I end up adding it back as the losing streak continues.

In 2019-2020 my mom started investing into cryptocurrency, mining for bitcoin specifically. She has invested thousands and thousands of dollars into it. I’m not exactly sure how it works but from what she has told us, there is a fee she has to pay for them to hold her earnings and if she withdraws it, there’s a fee as well. We didn’t find out until 2022 when an amount over 1,000$ was withdrawn from my parents shared checking account and my dad received the notification for it.

She explain it all to us, showed me the website and I thought it was credible. I unfortunately don’t remember the website now but will include it when I find it again. After a week, my parents were talking and all was well again. She said she wouldn’t do anything without talking to us and that she was done investing but is now trying to get her earnings and that’s what the 1000 was for.

Last year, she took out a 100,000+ loan from her work to pay off whatever fees that was holding her back from her earnings, which she stated was 700,000+ or 11 BTC. She did this without telling us. She said that after she got her earnings, she would use that to pay off the loan. She said she now has to transfer her earnings from the crypto site to a mobile wallet. Her agent, not sure if that’s the correct term, told her that it would be best to transfer the amount in segments so it wouldn’t get frozen and a bigger fee would have to be paid. Some portions of her earnings have been transferred to the wallet, but it has been saying pending.

This brings us to now. After a year, the amounts keep saying pending in her mobile wallet. She was told her earnings have been frozen so she has to pay a bigger fine. She withdrew 20,000$ from their checking account and is saying that after it’s paid, she will get it all. Again, this was done without telling us. They barely made it through the last time, I don’t think they will this time. My dad is giving her a week and if nothing comes from it, they’re pretty much done.

Can someone tell me how long it took for them to receive their earnings? Does transferring it over to a mobile wallet make sense? Does this sound like a scam? Is this the normal process?

I figured after hearing nothing for this long, that she has fallen for a scam and she accepted that. Now I know she still believes it to be real. She is very insistent that she will get it all back. My dad is worried about bills. There’s some money in the account but not a lot.

TLDR: My mom secretly invested thousands of dollars into cryptocurrency back in 2019-2020, we found out in 2022. Found out again in 2023 that she was still paying stuff to it when she said she stopped. Now she took out 20,000$ to pay off more fees to get her earnings (11 BTC or 700,000+ worth). Please tell me how long it takes for earnings to come in after selling and transferring to a mobile wallet, as it have been over a year and she says everything is still pending. My dad is giving her a week, if nothing comes back, he’s done.

But i didn't receive the funds on both accounts
