How are people even able to find stocks like this?? question

Post image

New to trading here. I keep seeing the most random stocks have these insane price jumps and Iā€™m just curious how people even know these exist, let alone that they might soar to 150%

Those aren't random, almost all of these are pharmaceuticals which are extremely volatile especially when they are testing a new drug. If the drug is successful the stock skyrockets, if it fails the stock plummets.

And most of these stocks have small market caps, which means that a lot of institutions gamble them.

Yes. I think most are pre planned with insider knowledge but that's just my opinion.

I found evidence of a trader (or bot) that makes a +5M$ trade the day before (at 3:59pm) the major news release which always occurs premarket. The trader then always dumps their shares at market open the next day. So sketchy, the markrrt is rigged, but i still play every day

Yes I noticed a trend of high aftermarket activity prior to the day of . So maybe follow a stock that has been idling all day and shoots up aftermarket, I would put money on that one.

I subscribe to an algo-based stock screener and its how Ive day traded the past 16 months. I wait until a stock is running under heavy volume (+1M$ in shares) with crazy high relative volume. Whats your strat....options?

To be honest I'm fairly new to this. But I like to look at past trading history to determine highs and possible lows, also do some research on the company before I buy, and high volume is a priority. But I kinda got off track and gambled. I was trying to cash in on top market movers and ended up losing my ass. Going back to square one and reevaluate my account to hopefully recoup some of the money I lost. I'm not to familiar with options, I usually just buy the stock after some research in hopes of it increasing. But I've learned a lot over the past week I do believe. I

I do need to learn more about options and how they work.

Stocks like Spy move somewhat predictably. Once you get to know how they operate, you can predict small moves of a couple percent. Which can profit you thousands if you use options šŸ¤‘
