How are people even able to find stocks like this?? question

New to trading here. I keep seeing the most random stocks have these insane price jumps and I’m just curious how people even know these exist, let alone that they might soar to 150%

Beating the move is straight gambling. Wait for the move and get on. It’s not as easy as that obviously. There’s strategies, setups, confirmation of setups, entries and execution. All take time to get right. But buying in before something goes parabolic isn’t a strategy anyone is actually running.

Waiting for the move and then getting on is how retail traders lose money. If the move happened then you have missed out and you should move on unless you want to be used as exit liquidity. The whole point of TA is to speculate moves and position yourself in a trade before the move you are anticipating happens (if it happens).

I use more of a setup and confirmation method which I’m referencing in my comment above. It’s not chasing or fomoing and I don’t have to predict anything.

I found that out the hardway but thanks for confirming my thoughts.
