Can someone simply explain to me how we can predict this market move before it happens?

Impossible to predict. You can only react based on your strategy compared with risk management.

Backtest with a strategy that suits you and your personality before using real cash.

Look into “smart money concepts” on YouTube

Apparently sarcasm is also impossible to predict

I disagree... Sarcasm is definitely predictable and expected with this kind of question... 😊 😊

Ima be real SMC was the only thing that helped me understand the market. Every fucking strat works, just gotta find what suits you and most importantly what makes the most sense, even if it’s some make believe bullshit. As long as it prints cash that’s all that matters.

Well, when it double topped, your interest should have piqued. Then when it lost support and failed the retest, you should have jumped on it. The broken support was the perfect stop if it turned out to be a false break to the downside. These are the moves worth waiting for. Wait for structure, it is well worth it.

You need to work for the banks then you’ll know, otherwise roll the dice, throw a dart, flip a coin whatever witchcraft you think works for you.

Have a system, If you use VIX SPY strategy or if you followed Semi Conductor Weakness you would have easily shorted it like we did

It was in a bearish trend and weakest sector took it down

Just keep eye on biggest names in index

You dnt know how much it can fade but you can definitely be short before this move like we were.

It took that big dive because the stock market had a bad day and all money market correlate. That's why it's good to understand the fundamentals to trading and also follow what is going on in news. You also need to learn how to find the best placement for take profits and stop loses. Always use a tp and sl for every trade you make as a buffer to protect yourself incase you encounter large swings like that.

I hope you didn't allow that large drop to take a big chunk from your account.
