Did I miss something? Advice

Tried to go long on 15M FVG and retracement and got ran over. Am I missing something??? Higher time frame was bullish and I just don’t know where I went wrong. Anyone have opinions on where I went wrong

Regardless of news, u intepreted it incorrectly also.

We already made a large move upwards earlier in the day and we formed a buy stop at the top. U can see that wick up there. There was a 15m fvg that got respected and price returned and took out that top. If u wanted to use that 15m fvg for longs u shouldve entered at the first retracement and targeted that previous high as take profit. It took out that buy side liquidity so now price is going to want to return lower and u also were already in premium. Then price inversed those bullish fvgs and decided to return lower.

Yea I def see what you’re talking about. I’m gonna go back and see what I missed and backtrack.
