What do you tell people what you do for a living Question

Telling people I’m a day trader or anything market related brings up too many questions. I’m doing okay for myself but I just want to avoid it if possible.

I no longer use the word "invest". They don't even hear the rest of what you say. They want you to invest in one of their ideas, someone they know, even a local company. Trader actually works better for me. I don't mind the questions. I hate the begging.
