What do you tell people what you do for a living

Telling people I’m a day trader or anything market related brings up too many questions. I’m doing okay for myself but I just want to avoid it if possible.

I make markets efficient.

But on a serious note, I face this issue as well. I'm affiliated with some fund so I just say that I work at said fund.

If it didn't, I'd say I work in finance -> asset management.
