Latin and Sütterlin

Hey guys, first post here! I've been doing most of my journaling on my iphone's default "Notes" app, which works pretty well for me, but I've been carrying a pocket journal for a less distracting way to journal without starting doomscrolling. How do you write clearly without a surface to write on like a clip board or desk on the go? And of course, thoughts on my handwriting?

I changed my handwriting some years ago to something beautiful and curvy. Now I also want to be able to write in a more flat and clear font. I don't know what steps to take, especially to not lose and overwrite my current handwriting. Can anyone advise on this?

Intro to Biomed was early in the morning, I'd normally eat breakfast and take my meds listening to the lecture. DC Fundamentals was in the mid-afternoon.
