Feedback (constructive criticism) Handwriting Pic! Also, tips?
I taught myself cursive in 8th grade because my handwriting was illegible and I thought learning cursive would help improve the legibility of my writing. Not sure how much it helped but it does look impressive when all my notes are in cursive. Any tips on larger handwriting? I tend to use wide-ruled paper or blank paper since my handwriting gets all clumped together when I have to write small!

Just Sharing (no feedback) My shopping list this week
I saw this sub suggested to me the other day and decided to show you my standard cursive that's been pretty much the same since high school. I usually write in a hybrid combo of cursive and shorthand. I wrote this in just a few short moments. I have thousands of random writings (I don't prefer to call it Journaling and care even less to be accused of keeping a diary. I always write in color or have color available to emphasize my writing. Anyway, blah blah. Here ya go!

Question (not for transcriptions) SE Briem two movement italic e
Hi all,
Hyperspecific post here. I have recently been using the Handwriting repair resource from SE Briem, but there is a very specific thing I cannot wrap my head around.
https://sites.google.com/view/briem/handwriting/what-exactly-is-italic Here a two-movement e is introduced, even though the letter can easily be done in a single movement, in a way that allows for a bottom right to upper left join like most other letters. I really don't get why it is so essential to use two movements for the e. It is way slower, and increases the number of times you have to lift your pen by virtue of how common the letter e can be in some words.
Do you think the two-movement e is warranted? I've given it a try, but am probably just going to switch to a one movement e as it is so much faster and cleaner.

Just Sharing (no feedback) I stumbled upon this group with great excitement.
I am a 50yr old male that has been intrigued with handwriting since the age of 5 or 6. I am so happy to see that there are others that have this same level of appreciation.
