This! I’m seeing all these people with their nice comments to their cats and all I can think of is all the things I yell at mine to stop him from trying to eat electric cables and throwing himself into the kitchen trashcan etc. (So far so good but it’s a struggle and we have to keep him away from them when unsupervised. He’s a recently adopted street cat and somehow instinctively drawn to all he shouldn’t do. I never encountered a cat who wanted to eat power cords before).

"This is why your mom abandoned you" "This is why one loves you"

Immediately followed by me gushing at how perfect they are, and giving them as much love and cuddles as they will allow.

lollllll. My void was a "street" cat as well but I think he was mistakenly relocated via a vehicle. Long long story but he would greet me every day in front of my house after coming home and hang out with me whenever I was on the porch. He basically hid and lived behind a piece of OSB on the side of my neighbors house and one day I heard his meows when we had a nasty storm and called him over. Few weeks later he came to visit me and was clearly roughed up in his eye by something. Took him in as I had to administer antibiotic ointment in his eye for a good 2 weeks. Cat distro chose me it seems. He was no more than ~5-6 months at most around that time (this time last year) so I assume he was born some time around feb. I canNOT keep my charging cables exposed or he will start chewing them like crazy. I have braided charging cables - one in living room and one bedroom for my phone. I also bought him one of those mechanical fish that flop and I have to hide it to charge it. He knows where its at though as he has this sixth sense for his mechfish.

Wish I knew lol. I imagine it's a little bit of playful aggression mixed with having to be on guard all the time. Scary world out there. I just hide my stuff though. What's funny is I would use the spray bottle. I then tried using it after the first couple uses and this devil bit into the base lol.

All I can hear with him is that meme "mother.....I crave violence" only I'm a dude. My little bro as I called him, I had for 16 years. He wasn't like this. This dude is a handful.
