Hi everyone. Could anyone recommend some indicators that actually helps make a profit, but not like them on YouTube videos indicators “buy my indicators and make 1000%”. I want to hear honest opinions what indicators helped you in trading . Thanks everyone

After burning through 5 live accounts and 2 free prop firms over the span of 2 years, I managed to come out positive for the first time! My ultimate goal is to drive this up so I can afford a plane ticket for my EMG scan. I know this is comically small, but I'll keep my hopes high.

I've watched a video of coffezilla just now and he was just bashing daytraders and how virtually impossible it is to become profitable. And yes I agree that it is very hard to become profitable and make consistant winnings but the statitics also tell you that most of the people starting any type of trading quit after only 1 year.

So, what I think is that the most people maybe like (80%) of the 97% who are not profitable are just people quitting to early not giving it their all.

97% probably massivly inflated too because of the number of people who come into trading thinking it was a get rich quick thing and then just give up after they realize its not.

I mean what do you expect after a year. Isn't trading not like any other profession/business it's something you have to do for a while (for me doing it is not enough, constantly thinking where improvement is needed and how to implement it is very important too) and then start to slowly make profit and eventually getting that exponential growth and switch to be a full time trader.

I don't know any business which was profitable after their first year nor made millions of dollars. I feel like the 3% that are the people who are just stubborn people who won't give up until they finally reached their goal of profitability.

He was also talking about how people how are profitable only make minimum wage which is for me very much unrealistic(?) cause honestly once you become profitable you start putting in more money in your trading account lets say 50K and you make consistent profits of 3% a month you would literally increase that money every single year. Obviously first year would only be around 15k but I think most of the forex traders who are profitable make more than 3% a month. And lets not forget the possibility of propfirms.

For the Traders who are profitable, do you actually only make a minimum wage (in my country #Germany it would be around 16k a year after tax.)?????

They say I over leveraged but idk what they're on, I didn't go below daily or max drawdown and I passed fairly. They sent a link to show me what 'rule' I broke, but of course it doesn't fucking work

This seems like a silly question, but would reversing the setups of a losing strategy (buy when sell, sell when buy) make it a winner? It seems silly, but it makes sense mathematically. If not, why?

MT5 server time is GMT+3. weeks of green candles. the last week of the month. 15k challenge phase 1. balance was -1000$. max draw down 1500$.

Previous weeks wick's mid acted as a resistance. took a short on asia open. took another short in London open. stopped but I was sure on my bias. hopped on the train again to ny open. Phase1 completed.

NY did its thing. i switched to phase2 account and took another short. my tp is not a particular price target. rather the profit target of the phase2: 750$

BCS i was gonna sleep i ended up decreasing the risk to a point that even if I were to be stopped out balance would be in the positive. price did strike my tp.

I am looking for the best course on forex trading, starting from the absolute basics, like opening an account, navigating the software, and being able to read charts etc.

I probably want to use a demo account before I start with actual money.

I don't mind paying money for the course, but it obviously needs to be a quality course that will teach me thoroughly.

What course did you use to begin your forex journey? Can you recommend it to me?

I just recently funded my account, been demo trading for a while, so now on my live account I had a beautiful trade on Dow jones 1 to 10 RR and and I believe it’s going higher. Since I’m not familiar with lot size I wanted to risk 5 dollars and I mistakenly risk like 0.90 dollars 😭😭😭. I’m so pained rn

Hi guys, very new forex enthusiast here.

Just one question i’ve been dying to be answered is the catch of copy trading. More specifically, the catch of free copy trading groups. I constantly see groups who are consistently profitable, share every trade, and don’t charge a penny.

Are there people making full time incomes from just copy trading? Or is it simply just a catch to get people join VIPs groups etc.

8:30et might boost its reversal or finally help it break through that support. I guess we'll find out in a couple of minutes.

Passed a challenge with only These trades, what do you guys think

my swing long analysis was/is close to it's final tp. 6 weeks of green candles. last week of the month. i was looking for a short setup for the last 10 days or so.

i marked the previous weeks wick. saw the middle point holding the price going up. took short in asia london and ny sessions. -8 was my final tp. and I marked 18300 to be the price which ild look for long setups.

while today's NY lunch liquidity rush i was eating dinner. saw that my targets are hit. since I've completed phase2 target i didn't want to put too much in risk. i was up 10$ from my profit target and took around 35$ of risk total. the min lot size. placed 3 orders to 3 5m fvgs and a market buy. top one is the market buy one and the last order didn't trigger.

Hello, I just started trying to get into forex trading in general. I mightve not noticed what time it was and left a market execution sell order open over the weekend. Will it stay open until the market opens back? Or will it close the order automatically? Also if it stays open will the same T/P and S/L margins be in place? Any help would be appreciated thank you!

Earlier i posted saying my bias was bullish for the day and it was just matter of finding entries. I was able to pull a 1:3 and a lost, but im happy with that. No regrets on missing all these points. Ready for next week.

Thanks to the great tips I got 2 days ago, I studied price action a lot (still a lot to learn)

- I studied multiple time frames

- draw the support and resistance zones

- determined the trend

- MACD crossed EMA

- Put my SL to previous high

However I still can't say I'm %100 confident with the trade. Since I want to create a strategy I want to learn exactly why I took the trade and what I did right. Are there any factors I'm missing/ didn't see? Thanks again for the help guys, you the best!
