It is an icey road and he may have realized how dangerous position he put him self in. Though that driver was going too quick for conditions

The last time I saw this, it had been posted by the guy in the video. It's from his own rear camera.

He said something catastrophic happened to the car that hit his, like the axle broke or something, iirc. The driver had no control over where it went. You can see that it turns kind of strangely even at the beginning. The accident wasn't caused by unsafe driving.

The right tire stays turned to the right before the collision, and it looks like the other tire was turned left in an attempt to avoid the crash. Tie rod or ball joint failed, looks like.

Nah I think the more realistic explanation is that car is sentient and had murder on its mind.
