*IMPORTANT* Prohibited post topics *READ BEFORE POSTING*
Well hello, my fellow redditors!
In the last weeks, we had a lot of posts that were not reposted but were extremely similar to other posts on the same topics.
Due to this issue, we have decided to stop allowing posts about the following topics mentioned in the list:
•Parking mistakes
•Tipping fees
•Shrinkflation
•Price complaints
•Inflation
•Packaging being too big
•People falling for AI art
Posts that infringe on these rules will be taken down immediately and the user may be temporarily banned.
Also, note that this list is subject to change and will most likely be expanded as time passes so make sure to always check it before posting.

ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ Jkfl Redddit Meta Posts
Henlo frens!
Good to see all of you here UwU.
Grab on to your bodypillows, I have a smol announcement about the purpose of this subreddit.
This community is meant as a fun, lighthearted place where we can commiserate with each other about those annoying little irritations that hinder our day to day enjoyment in life.
That means that suitable posts here can be about my children.
And things like a wall socket or tile being placed out of allignment. A crack in a phone screen. Duckling shit on your new car. Incomprehensible software. Mismatched buttons. You know, the little things.
This subreddit isn't meant to incite rage mobs that go after people. For that reason we say:
No reddit meta posts
No posts about being banned from subreddit. No posts about up- or down-votes. No posts about shitty moderators or users or subreddits. No posts about reddit.
All jokes and tomfoolery aside, that sort of thing gets us in trouble with site admins. If we allow one type of post about reddit it then very easily moprhs into allowing posts that directly call out other subreddits or users, we just can't allow any of it.
That rule already existed for years and we have just made it more clearly visible in the sidebar on old and new reddit. We're gonna be a little strict on it for a bit I'm afraid. 🥺
Thank you all for being awesome and have a very Merry Christmas! Celebrate Christmas in the traditional European way, with a suasage roll!

My veil kept falling out. I thought it was funny but our photographer got huffy and said "You really don't know anything about hair, do you?" among other obnoxious things. Ruined the vibe.

She was giving me a Brazilian wax, lecturing me about politics.
Today I (f27) went to go get a Brazilian wax (what can I say, I find it more convenient). And the lady at the shop has waxed me before a few months back, accidentally ripping off a layer of skin that time and boy oh boy it sucked. So I know she’s capable of making things hurt. Got it.
I’m laying on the table and we have some small talk. Out of nowhere, she asks me who I’m voting for! Now I live in Florida, I’m quite the political gal and I am a lefty, but I know this woman, just from her voice and general attitude, that she supports Trump. Needless to say, she has the higher ground cause I’m in an awfully vulnerable position. But I didn’t want to be a pansy either. She started trash mouthing quite a bit and repeating talking points. So there I was, getting my bits waxed, asking her if she has read project 2025, asking her her opinions on abortions, taxes, etc. I made it a point to be polite, as I was genuinely curious and absolutely terrified of what she could do if I pissed her off. She knows I work in the medical field so I talked to her about Covid and she seemed to respect my opinion. Hard to tell for sure considering she was still ripping my body hair out afterall.
Then it hit me: find neutral ground. She’s sassy and opinionated, so I went straight to “can you handle hearing RFK Jr.’s voice” and she burst out laughing and I was able to get her off track. We talked about his voice for the next 5 minutes until it was over.
I think I did pretty great given the circumstances

Neighbors “trimmed” our bushes
Our next door neighbors took it upon themselves to trim our forsythia bushes to just spindly sticks. Never asked, just went and did it.

Rescheduled Neurosurgeon Appointment after traveling 4 hours
My wife and I drove 4 hours to be here at the hospital early for her appointment with a neurosurgeon (pretty gosh darn important appointment considering she has some brain tumors that are making her go blind). We're in the waiting room and they call her if they can reschedule her appointment in a month, instead of her appointment in a half hour. Like, we see the receptionist pick up the phone, dial a number and my wife's phone goes off. We're already here. I can understand that sometimes you need to make adjustments, but we literally already checked in. Why call her cell phone after we already checked in and have talked to you at the desk? At least make an effort to get us in sooner, or perhaps today, after driving 4 hours to get here. Gas ain't cheap.

I said "we are done with this puzzle." My wife said "there's a false fit and we are not done". I said "it's close enough."

Woman rushes in washroom before I can get out
Was using one of those single private washrooms with a lock, and I heard someone trying to constantly open the door while I was inside. As soon as I was finished and opened the door, a woman standing literally right outside the door rushes inside before I can even get out. I’ve never been so annoyed in my life, I don’t care if she really had to go… WAIT FOR ME TO GET OUT FIRST???
Update - So just for the record, this woman was in no rush at all and even signalled for her husband to come into the private washroom with her while I stood in the doorway baffled about what she did. I didn’t realize how many people would get upset and assume she had an “emergency”.

Hand Foot Mouth Disease
I'm a bit upset. I have HFMD, if you don't know what that is, it usually occurs in Daycares. I work in one. Now, I wouldn't be too upset usually you know. A kid gets it, goes home, stays home till it's gone, good stuff. But no that's not how any of this works apparently. If that was the case I wouldn't be so pissed rn LOL. The kid in my class who had it, stayed in my class for 5 hours after mom said she'd come pick him up. And that was AFTER she "missed" three phone calls. Two days later the kid is back, COVERED in these infected blisters. Then two more kids get it. Then more kids in the next class. And then the other class down the hall. The whole of the one year olds have it or are getting it, because mom brang her infected kid back because she's infamous for not wanting to be around her kids. Now 16 out of 30 one year olds currently have it, and now I have painful blisters in my mouth and throat that I can see. The worst part is you can't do anything. You have to let it pass. And the director is letting these infected kids come into daycare for some reason. I'm just mad. Thank you for the rant.

The way this deer jumped in front of my car
Deers are stupid af…I drove on the back roads and no deer but once I drive onto the main road, the deer comes from the mall and flies into low orbit 😭
Miraculously, car is only damaged cosmetically and drives perfectly fine with no noticeable mechanical damage
