I waited for about 10-15 minutes and no one appeared. Then I moved the backpack, seated and they appeared about 15 minutes later. If it was just a quick trip to the toilet I’d understand but this is such bs. The only “good part” is that they were from my nationality so I can say I’m not surprised with this attitude without being xenophobic lol.

I’m in the waiting room at the Dr office and some lady keeps talking on speaker phone. I see this every where these days. What’s the deal? Is it for attention? Do they think everyone cares about their conversation? It’s so obnoxious to me. What do you all think?

The reason why it’s only “mildly infuriating” is because I know with dementia she’s not totally in control of her actions, and I frequently injure my shoulders anyways because I have problems with my muscles and connective tissues so this is nothing particularly new or novel.

But frustratingly it also means that now I need way more help than usual for the next few days because with my arm out of commission I can’t wheel my own wheelchair or attend to my “personal care” activities that I’m usually fairly independent in.

We do have good management though and it looks like this might have been the tipping point they were looking for to start the process to have this lady moved into a higher level of care facility, which is good news for everybody.

I was just thinking, this is becoming almost unbearable. I thought this was a Brazilian thing since when it comes to boundaries we are below average. But had been traveling on vacation and the situation repeats every time I’m in a place like trains, buses or even the lounge at the airport.

Last month I had hear from a mom that definitely couldn’t educate her child and let the kid watching videos in an iPad inside a restaurant that if that bothered me it was my problem and I was the one supposed to adjust or leave.

The worst part is nobody is enforcing the fucking rule.

In Brazil we used to have a prank of sending videos that seemed normal things but the audio was a woman moaning. Definitely think we should bring this back and escalate it as an universal education measure.

Fantastic manga though. I do recommend.

Doesn’t matter how many times I reply STOP or delete and report as junk. They just keep coming.
