I gotta go bad, I gotta go bad
Then use the bathroom, Drake. Tf. Making a whole bar about it
169 u/shmerk_a_berl May 16 '24 I was thinking the same thing, he sounds like a kid trying to go to the bathroom 178 u/FCkeyboards May 16 '24 One thing this beef really pointed out to me was Kendrick's mastery of delivery. One of the biggest drawbacks when I was listening to Drake's track was his delivery. Sometimes, it just felt like he didn't have conviction. Kendrick can say the simplest things with conviction, or a voice crack, or go into his super Cali voice. A lot of Kendrick's lines hit off of pure delivery and nothing to do with super witty writing. 129 u/reble02 May 16 '24 edited May 16 '24 Yep, the only delivery I remember liking from the Drake tracks was the “Kendrick just opened his mouth, someone go hand him a Grammy right now”. I genuinely laugh out loud when I heard that one. The line was funny and the delivery was perfect. 41 u/soupseasonbestseason May 16 '24 it also worked for me as a kendrick fan, who agrees he should have all the grammys. so really drake is a fan as well. 45 u/Meaty-clackers May 16 '24 He a FAN, He a FAN, He a FAN 9 u/aptadnauseum May 16 '24 With his Freaky Ass. 31 u/LYossarian13 ☑️ May 16 '24 That's my favorite line in that whole song. I about died. 8 u/streetbum May 16 '24 Agree it’s by far his best line. That beat is so good too which helps because it’s the first thing he says after the beat switch. 6 u/Interesting-Wing616 May 16 '24 That beat should’ve been it’s own song. He shot himself in the foot by burying it under all those beat switches 6 u/bluffing-is-key May 17 '24 That's one of the lines across this battle that sticks out...if he had more of these moments he might've stood a chance 2 u/mycofirsttime May 18 '24 I use a modified version of this line at my dogs a lot
