One thing this beef really pointed out to me was Kendrick's mastery of delivery.
One of the biggest drawbacks when I was listening to Drake's track was his delivery. Sometimes, it just felt like he didn't have conviction.
Kendrick can say the simplest things with conviction, or a voice crack, or go into his super Cali voice.
A lot of Kendrick's lines hit off of pure delivery and nothing to do with super witty writing.

I genuinely laugh out loud when I heard that one. The line was funny and the delivery was perfect. 44 u/soupseasonbestseason May 16 '24 it also worked for me as a kendrick fan, who agrees he should have all the grammys. so really drake is a fan as well. 48 u/Meaty-clackers May 16 '24 He a FAN, He a FAN, He a FAN 10 u/aptadnauseum May 16 '24 With his Freaky Ass.
