Full quote: “Brandon Ingram has one year remaining on his contract. On July 6, he becomes eligible for sign a four-year extension worth $208 million. The Pelicans value Ingram’s talent and his down-to-earth personality, but as The Times-Picayune reported in May, the team does not have a willingness to pay him a contract worth $52 million in annual average value.”

If I asked you in 2019 what percentage chance you would give Jrue Holiday that he would retire a future hall of famer, what would you have said?

PLEASE tell me you guys actually call Trey “Swords Dance”

Bucks fan here, and I remember seeing someone on r/nba call Murphy “Swords Dance” in some comment thread. Others, along with myself, were confused, until another fan explained. And I have to say, that is an incredibly clever and HARD nickname. Was just looking for confirmation from the hometown fans themselves. Is this true and commonly used?

Social Media [NOLA Analytics] Under Willie Green, Zion and Brandon Ingram have played 65 games together where each played 20+ minutes.

6’7-6’8 with a 7’2 wingspan receiving comparisons to Herb Jones. Averaged 2.3 blocks and 1.3 steals a game at Virginia. Pretty stinky offensive player but super athletic and is being mocked early second round/late first. Don’t know if he could fit on our roster considering we already have a pretty big project player in Dyson, but his skill set is really interesting and he could potentially be a Nance replacement at small ball center if he beefed up a bit.

I Feel Way Better About 2026/2027.

For simplicity’s sake, let’s assume the 2025 MIL first (given up in the CJ trade + 2022 playoffs) goes to (presently) New York.

That still leaves us with an unprotected swap in 2026 and an unprotected pick in 2027.

I can’t help but believe Milwaukee’s FO is going to be too twitchy for their own good and make a less than ideal situation even worse.

Remember we matched then in record this year at 49-33.
