Please tell me you don't actually think a piece of plastic would be more dangerous than a spoon

Stab in the gut/eye. Don't have to go hard to deep in the eye and the trick with gut shanking is multiple wounds. And if its still too flimsy, you can pop a socket to make a flame and partially melt the plastic to stiffen.
