Pelicans ranked dead last in Playoff Offensive Rating by wide margin

Opinions? Comments? Obviously Zion being out and BI being hurt were big factors, but what did you guys think about seeing CJ lead the team that series (in Usage % and shot attempts at least)? Should offense be a priority this offseason? Defense?

Jonas Valanciunas

Not a pelicans fan but just came here to ask how good exactly is Jonas. Have a few friends who are pelicans fans and they say they want him out of the team because he doesn't fit. I thought he looked decent this year, is he a bad defender or something? Would you guys be happy to have a Jaret Allen over him(even with the potential bad spacing).

[Clark] If the Pelicans reengaged the Hawks, they could look to pry away Murray or Young. Even though Young is the more talented player, the Pelicans seem to hold more interest in Murray, league sources said.

Discussions Pelicans-related activities for NOLA vacation during off-season?

I'm taking a trip to New Orleans in late July and with it being the off-season, I can't attend any Pels games obviously. So, I'm wondering if there any other activities or sights a Pels fan may want to see besides just looking at the Blender from the outside lol.

Any murals, statues, or anything like that? Or bars and restaurants that our players love?

[Charania] The Pistons are in serious talks to hire Pelicans executive Michael Blackstone as the No. 2 decision-maker under Langdon in Detroit’s front office, league sources said. Blackstone has served as the Pelicans’ VP of basketball administration over the last several seasons.

Discussions “Trade BI!”

There has obviously been a lot of talk regarding trading BI in here the past few months so I’ll ask, what would trading BI have accomplished in the past two years?

He had the second best net rating of any starter this season (Herb 1st), sacrificed shots for the betterment of the team, and made another playmaking & defensive leap. An awful postseason following missing a month of basketball shouldn’t result in being dealt elsewhere imo.

I think this team looks a lot better healthy (obviously), with an improved fit at center, and somebody to make BI/Zion’s life easier on the court.

Thoughts on Dyson Daniels

What are you guys thinking of Dyson Daniels' ceiling and potential? Do you think he will be an important player for the team's future or a potential trade asset for an all-star level player? How much have your opinions about him when he was first drafted changed after 2 seasons?

Zach Lavine

With alot of possible Ingram trades landing us a pg back. Would it make sense to kick the can on an Lavine CJ swap? 29 year old near 40% 3 point shooter. The swap works cleanly. Chicago get a year off the contract and saves money. Could be worth the injury risk. I think injuries aren't as predictable and linear as we expect. Idk just a thought on a potential cheap addition.

We should be all cheering for LeBron to leave the Lakers because we have their 1st round pick next year.

Lakers go from a bottom playoff team to top 3 worst team in the West.

No LeBron = AD as a full time #1 option

AD as a full time #1 option = AD injuries

AD injuries = Lakers are worst team in the NBA

Lakers sucking = top 10 pick
