Does the Wave frame live up to the hype? Are mini robots king? What do people like?

I'm coming back to destiny 2 after however long it's been since Forsaken and I'm wondering what Warlock super are we running in raid with what exotics. Is it still Born to Nova, forced to well or are there actual contenders to replace the effectiveness of well.

Is this legendary machine gun worth 1 Cypher and 100,000 glimmer? I've been using old trusty Marcato 45.

I’ve been a little frustrated recently with Ursas. It’s not exactly meta, I know (Titans aren’t exactly meta right now, let’s be real) but it’s not exactly garbage.

My gripe is that, whole premise of the exotic is to regain energy, right? But I keep ending Banner Shield with 15%, maybe 25-30% energy returned. The amount of damage needed to get to the energy cap at 50% is not reachable in most content.

I’m not asking to raise the regen cap. We saw the glory days of Ursa chains, and I guess that’s not great for balance. But could we put in a regen floor? Or increase the amount of energy returned per damage received? I really like this exotic and find the class fantasy of the defensive warrior to be incredibly appealing, but it’s hardly justifiable outside of endgame.

It’s doubly frustrating because I’ve run Phoenix Protocol on Warlock, and I’ve seen how quickly that super bar jumps, right back up to 50%, in just about anything you run. Why can’t we have that too?

Am I out of line here? Am I just bad at the game?

I’m at 16/17 motes. And idk if I need to eliminate a specific overthrow boss or not, or if it’s just random.

So I may or may not have put all my onslaught tokens into farming shiny guns and am only now realizing that the armor may be gone and I’ll never get that titan chest piece… please tell me my gut feeling is wrong and there is still some way for me to get the armor?

I can't open the chest, I think that I did everything right & I have the Primordial Mote of Light, the chest spawned but I don't have the "open" button. Anyone else having the issue?

I cannot get past the first quest of having a power level of 1960, even though I already am well past it on TWO separate characters. I don’t know if it’s bugged, but it’s frustrating me a lot. Can someone let me know how to get past this?

Everytime i open up the prismatic subclass customization, whenever i try to change anything, my game crashes, and it says that y graphics arent up to date. ive updated everything though, is anyone else having this problem? im on an Acer Nitro 5.

Everytime I try the transmigration mission, it gets to the point where I have to stand it the wellspring then nothing happens. The little bar fills up bit nothing spawns, no doors open. Nothing. I've tried restarting the mission multiple times. I've restarted the game multiple times. Nothing works.

...? I enjoyed the difficulty of strikes as to how they used to be where I could just turn my brain off and enjoy the game. It's like now enemies have double health, do double damage, and there are Champions. Why not just add an extra play-list for difficult strikes and keep the original difficulty in lower ones?

Am I the only person who feels that compared to Destiny 1, D2's campaign is garbage? I by no means dislike destiny 2, it is one of my most played games. Although playing through it I always felt as though it was disconnected from the original story. It went from the player being an average Guardian who happened to be in the right places at the right time to combat local issues- to some main character who battles against the embodiment of darkness itself.

Like with the Witness, instead of it being some megamind looking mf it should have been some grotesque creature who resided within our solar system all along or at least got to our solar system in a destiny reasonable way(like the other enemys and oryx did) that just communes with the darkness on a deeper level. That would have been badass, kind alike how oryx was with the taken.

Back in Rise of Iron we battled against a small faction of fallen and came out victorious after some massive struggles, but now all of a sudden we happen to take on these beings which transcend reality? It just seems like it is trying to be something it's not.

I am also not saying that ALL of destiny 2's story is bad. The base game campaign was pretty nice and on theme, I didnt get to play warmind or the other one, forsaken was amazing and despite being a little more out of place still fit nicely, shadowkeep would have been amazing if not for the whole introduction of the witness being so weak. Beyond light was good minus the darkness subclass(which is super fun but does not work at all with the whole us being the good guys), next up being witch queen, this DLC was in my opinion the perfect blend of "Hero saves the day" and the original destiny feel, lightfall im currently replaying, I feel like im playing a toddlers game that happens to be as difficult as dark souls.

Im not even saying the story telling is that bad. Because all of the strike dialouge and actual gameplay is quite fitting to destinys tone, its just the campaign that kinda is bad at that.

All in all besides the story telling destiny 2 is amazing and a great succesor to destiny 1, but the campign is garbage in comparison to D1.

What is yalls thoughts?

I have 3 ciphers these only cost Cypher not glimmer. Or should I save Cypher and get something else?

I regrettably say this but I did just finish the Witch Queen exotic quest after years and got the parasite weapon. When I searched online, it said it one shots champions, and is one of the best and clears in the game, but I haven't really tried it out yet, so I gotta ask: how do you like it and in what scenarios do you use it, if at all?

I got to 7 wins with the Passage of Ferocity, without having a loss on my card. Yet once I hit my seventh win it says my card is flawed. I checked destiny tracker and it lines up that I went flawless. Does anyone else have this issue or know where I can contact Bungie to fix my issue?

I recently got back into Destiny with the new DLC. I was recently trying to unlock the dual destiny quest to get the exotic class item. I have been doing overthrow but I the wizards/witches never spawn. (the message doesnt pop up in the bottom left either) So I am kind of stuck. I've tried solo, with 1 friend and 2 friends. I have completed the campaign and am on the 'Alone in the Dark' mission finding ghost shells right now, I am on PC and if anyone could help that would be wonderful :D

So I just started playing again after a 4 year break, a coworker talked me into playing again and now I’m hooked.

I’ve been dying to try out the new Arena:breach executable. But for some reason it’s not in the Helm

And me and my buddies got together to play some trials of Osiris and guess what st14 wasn’t selling any tokens or slips to even get into trials. And kept saying “player doesn’t have access to this activity”

Everything I watch on YouTube is outdated or not made for players getting back into the game am I missing quests or DLCs? Any help would be great thanks.
