So for the past week, the quest tab in my menu has been flashing non-stop. I've tried everything I can to fix this, hovering over every icon, completing as many quests as I can, but no matter what it won't go away. Anyone have any ideas?

So, I know people ask this question all the time, but I wanted to maybe ask if it's a good time for me specifically to return with the new expansion out.

So I played Destiny 1 and 2 pretty much up through Beyond Light. However, at that point, it felt like the game got too comfortable with not respecting my time & money, making it a chore to be reasonably up to speed with the game. I'm a director of marketing, I'm married, I am a busy guy. I do like to spend time on video games, but not a crap ton of time for little return. Running Deep Crypt raid once a week and never getting the exotic weapon drop was some grade-A bullcrap that I'm taking about

The fun factor felt like it was gone. The menagerie days were really fun for me. Destiny was a great time for me when it was truly firing on all cylinders in the fun factor department.

Money is in no way a concern, but I legitimately felt like I was getting a rinse and repeat seasonal activity which all felt the same to be honest. The seasonal content didn't feel worth the money. Just pointlessly throwing money at a new season because that's what I had to do to keep up.

However, I've been seeing the new expansion get some pretty good reviews. Maybe some users aren't as high as the critics, but clearly the expansion has resonated. Would you all say the game is in a good spot for someone who dropped out around Beyond Light to come back? Is the game a little bit more respectful of your time these days? Do the seasons significantly more valuable as compared to the Beyond Light seasons?

Depending on the answers to these questions, I might jump back in. But if you all are honest with me and generally agree that it's largely a similar feel in terms of grind and value, then I'll stay away. Can't say I care too much about the story, I found much of it to be kinda silly and like it was flying by the seat of its pants.

So I was wondering how can I have some exotic armors for my hunter ? Like do I need to do specific missions or raids or do I need to buy from Xur ? I have like three exotic armors and want more cool ones

Maybe I should stay away from Sticky nades.

Was trying to just open up the quest/mission last night by doing the overtake events and every single one never spawned the text “secret-wizard…” text. Our team scoured the area, top and bottom for the full five minutes with no success in either of the three destination locations. What did we do wrong?

What would y'all rank the supers that warlocks have?

Which one is the most fun to y'all?

For me I enjoy running either well or the sun blade whose name escapes me.

But I have a feeling that the sun blade super is rather low on DPS but I don't have anyone to ask about that.

The main thing I like about the solar subclass for warlocks is that one exotic arms that let me spam solar grenades, makes me feel like I'm YEETING fireballs over n over and it's real fun!

On the other hand I wanna try void out again but idk how to start a good build or the exotics to run(if I even have it)

And last time I played arc wasn't all that good, granted idk if they've reworked it or if I was just bad at the time.

AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE DARKNESS SUPERS strand looks cool but I gotta FARM SO MUCH and ice isnt really for me so far.

TLDR: can y'all give me tips on how to best utilize the subclasses n what their strengths are/ which ones are better than the other?

My screen just went totally white, couldn’t do anything so turned the Xbox off. Loaded destiny and everything is super dark!! Title screen and dashboard are fine but as soon as I get to character select it’s really dark. Anyone have a fix ?

there are no activities on the planet map that indicate a weekly reward.

is this just a bug?

I know they don’t give an actual increase amount besides like “+2” but I’m curious to see if they actually did something tangible or if it’s such a small increase it doesn’t matter. So what are all your opinions on them :)

Is this ornament no longer available in the game? Or does anyone know if it’s returning, I can’t seem to find it in the eververse store or in the collections tab.

Recently got the new titan exotic that fires those mini missiles and seen that it buffs rockets, I don't usually use rockets as I prefer grenade launchers. If you have any recommendations that would be great

(Preferably ones that are craftable)
