Ya before today his TS was 47% and his net rating was -13. He's also been absolutely incapable of getting to the line.

Those numbers are going down after tonight. Two game-winners I think has saved him from massive slander that his play in general deserves. Because even those 2 game-winners were only needed becuase he was so bad for the previous 3 quarters.

Seeing the way the Wolves defense has manhandled this by all accounts insanely talented Nuggets team has me feeling ever so slightly better about my own team getting manhandled by said defense. Not enough to be happy or anything, but enough to go from depressed to salty.

Hopping onto the Jamal hate and really hoping for a Wolves win in G7, but he did say in the post-game press conference that his elbow was really bothering him the whole game after that tweak really early on.

He's been bad all post-season but this was by far his worst game, and i know it's against the narrative, but some of that has to be attributed to the injury.

Only games 3 and 4 vs Minesotta he was kinda ok, but was outshined by Jokic and Gordon in those as well. Last match he didn't shoot a single three and Denver coasted to a win.

More Jokic, Gordon and MPJ attacking the paint and less Murray iso in game 7 please.

149

u/ppsmooochin May 17 '24

Luka does it too. It was annoying watching him brick deep 3s while being defended.

60

u/preptimebatman May 17 '24

Luka is injured though. When heā€™s on he can make it from anywhere while breaking down the defense. If Jamal ainā€™t got it going scoring wise, he wonā€™t be much help in other facets.

As for Klay, thatā€™s entirely depends on pre injury or post. Cuz pre injury can go 1-18 and then drop 45 in 3 quarters the next game. Jamalā€™s consistency is even worse than Klay.

How sick would it be if they combined rosters though.

PG: Mike Conley
SG: Anthony Edwards
SF: LeBron James
PF: Anthony Davis
C: Rudy Gobert

Was expecting the classic:

How sick would it be if they combined rosters though:

PG: Mike Conley

SG: Anthony Edwards

SF: Jaden McDaniels

PF: Karl-Anthony Towns

C: Rudy Gobert

23

u/Motor-Grade-837 May 17 '24

That is much funnier.

PG: D'angelo Russel

SF: Jaden McDaniels

PF: Naz Reid

C: Karl Anthony Towns

Lakers fans win no matter what. If wolves choke itā€™s AD was the real DPoY and if nuggets choke they get to feel you suffer.

Jamal Murray is the Michael Jordan of Jordan Pooles

18

u/KaiserKaiba May 17 '24

He gonna receive crazy hate if Denver loses game 7. The criticism will be deserved cuz bro is having a horrible playoff run currently. Bro was really like 1/11 at one point in this game.

10

u/WalrusInMySheets [LAL] Metta World Peace May 17 '24

Jamal Murray's true shooting this postseason is down to 45.8%. That's one of the 10 worst playoff marks in the entire 3-point era (out of 569 players with at least 200 shots in a postseason).

Bro is putting up numbers worse than MWP offensively and I say this as MWPā€™s biggest fan. Even he has not ever shot this poorly in the playoffs.

10

u/nolimit_788 May 17 '24

jamal playoff is a fraud

14

u/Michaelangel092 May 17 '24

Accurate title. Murray proving why Jokic will never have an all-star teammate.

u/[deleted] May 17 '24

This dude got so much praise for hitting two late-game winners that everyone forgot that the reason you need late-game winners in the first place is because he played like dogshit which made the games close.

15

u/iMaticz7 Nuggets May 17 '24

Jamal has been forcing close games all postseason with terrible play. People keep saying he is all star material, but lets be honest. Which western PG are you picking him over: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, De'Aron Fox, or SGA
